Iceage

DNK / 6.9 Sun

Iceage is a Danish punk rock band, formed in 2008 when its members Elias Bender Rønnenfelt, Dan Kjær Nielsen, Johan Suurballe Wieth, and Jakob Tvilling Pless were around seventeen years old. Their fourth album <Beyondless> was released in 2018, garnering an essay by punk rock icon Richard Hell in which he praises lead singer and songwriter Rønnenfelt’s literary background and the band’s “poetry and the intelligence.” Daniel Stewart of Australian post-punk band Total Control compares the record to classic albums such as Love's Forever Changes and the Rolling Stones’ Exile on Main Street. After extensive tours across North America, Europe and smaller tours in Australia and Asia, Iceage will play in South Korea for the first time this year.
